FAQs

  • At this time, I’m more focused on local sales than online, but I still want to give my online followers/customers the ability to purchase and view my work. The way I do restocks is I make a large batch of pots (takes ~2-3 months) and I do a limited restock (sometimes after a festival) for about a week. Once the week (or whatever time frame I chose for the restock) is over, I pull whatever didn’t sell off the website. This allows me to stock local shops with my pottery and be active in my local community.

  • You can subscribe to my email news letter (I never send more than 2 emails a month) by clicking here, or you can follow me on Instagram or facebook where I make announcements. Email subscribers will be notified before the restock occurs and social media followers will be notified the same day a restock occurs.

  • Once an order has been placed, we (Shell’s Salty Studio, Teresa Dalton, and Pike Design) do our best to fulfill the order as soon as possible (1-3 business days).

  • I have so many new ideas lined up for future collections and I cannot wait to share them with you! Sign up for my email news letter by clicking here to be the first to know or follow me on Instagram and facebook to follow along!

  • Yes! Email me at ShellsSaltyStudio@gmail.com to let me know if you’re interested.

  • I will consider commissions on a case by case basis. Email me at ShellsSaltyStudio@gmail.com to inquire about commissions.

  • I chose to name my small business Shell’s Salty Studio for several reasons: 1) Shell is not only my nickname, but also makes me think of sea shells and the coast which plays a huge part in my art, my life, and who I am. 2) Salty represents my salty NC coast that I love so so much. 3) I chose the term Studio over ceramics because when I first created my small business I wasn’t 100% certain what direction I wanted to go with my art and I didn’t want to limit myself to just one medium.
